Ruth was a communicant of Saint Louis de Gonzague church.īesides her parents Ruth is pre-deceased by her brothers and sisters, Albina Peloquin, Therese Peloquin, Laval U. She loved going to Cape Cod and always referred to it as her “second home”. Ruth was an avid Red Sox fan and loved going to Foxwoods where she went with her sisters and her friends. When she was growing up she enjoyed summer vacations with her family at Hampton Beach and also enjoyed spending time at her family’s summer home on Long-Sought-For Pond in Westford, MA. Ruth enjoyed traveling, taking many trips with her brother Marcel and sister Germaine. In 2000, after her sister Germaine’s death, Ruth moved to Davidson Landing on Ledge Street in Nashua, NH and lived there for 12 years where she made new life-long friendships with several special people.Īctive in the Nashua community, Ruth was a Big Sister in the local chapter and also volunteered for the Soup Kitchen. In 1988, Ruth and her sister moved to Greenwood Apartments in Nashua, NH. Ruth retired in 1981, after 28 years of service, at the age of 50.ĭuring her employment at New England Telephone Ruth lived in Lowell, MA and, in 1967, moved to a home in Chelmsford, MA with her sister Germaine. She started in the Lowell, MA office eventually moving to the Metheun, MA office. Two years after college graduation, Miss Peloquin began a successful career at New England Telephone in 1953. She furthered her education in a two-year Business Program at the Lowell Commercial College where she graduated in 1951. Miss Peloquin attended Presentation of Mary Academy in Hudson, NH and went on to St. Ruth was born in Lowell, MA on Octoand was the youngest of nine children. She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Marieanne (Guilmette) Peloquin. Peloquin, age 88, of Nashua, passed away on Saturday, Jfrom complications due to a stroke.
